The rising star of the new shamanistic music, Rune of the Sun, will take to the stage of Fiery Juodaragis! Sowulo has been gathering pace over the course of several releases over the past decade. The project is the work of multi-instrumentalist Faber Horbach who composes and produces the Sowulo output, a vessel for him to express his spiritual path. The contemplative, melancholic sound of Sowulo is crafted using both early medieval and contemporary instruments, its rhythmic flow transporting listeners on a journey of timeless meditation.
Faber comments: “Playing at MJR Festival with my own project is a big dream of mine since I performed there with Heilung in 2018! The forest, the crowd and the music just gives the festival a deep spiritual atmosphere which I think is incredible.”
The Sowulo ship will set sail from the MJR Great Stage on Friday night with those travelling towards archetypal wisdom.
