The Mėnuo Juodaragis festival creates a unique programme – the most diverse programme of music, cultural activities and artistic fields. More than 70 music groups, projects and artists will perform on the four stages of the festival. Four days and nights of enchanting performances, knowledge, entertainment and experiences await us!

The cult virtual reality film invites You to step into the enchanting and unique world of the paintings and music of the most famous Lituanian artist M. K. Čiurlionis. Screenings every 30 minutes, registration on site. In the Middle Meadow.
• The BIG DRUMS •
Creative sound journeys, meditations and workshops, exploring the greatest drums and other exciting instruments for young and old. Experiences led by Karolina and Tadas Šimkus, sound therapy and self-help studio Artimi garsai, and drum masters Asta and Mindaugas Špokauskas, Bugninom. In the Middle Meadow.

Horses, goats and other domestic animals of the Utena Stud Farm might be happy to talk to you in the Middle Meadow.

Education and games of various folk sports welcome the visitors every day from 12.00 at the Oak tree near the Craft Yard.
• Relax with kanklės •
Experience the magical vibration of the kanklės (Lituanian folk instrument), 15 minutes of special sound therapy of eternal peace – for You alone. On Friday and Saturday from 9.00 am. Registration in the Yard of Magic.
• Dr. Jonas Basanavičius’ “AUŠRA” •
The Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore presents a complete set of the first Lithuanian newspaper “Auszra” (the Dawn) published after 140 years – a special facsimile for you to see and read. Ethnologist Gražina Kadžytė introduces the issues, authors and texts of the 19th century revival. Every day from noon at the Oak tree in the Craft Yard.
• VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO •
Photographer Rimas Kavaliauskas and his family team present the techniques of the dawn of 19th century photography. Take a picture with an old camera and get a unique portrait on glass – an ambrotype, the kind that drove Paris crazy 170 years ago. Near the Tent of Wisdom.
• Magic Typewriters •
Artist Dominykas Andriuškevičius’ instalation with old typewriters invites visitors to capture their thoughts, memories, wishes or the most unexpected moments of Mėnuo Juodaragis here. Thoughts that disappear… will remain in type! In the Yard of Magic.
• BATHHOUSES (Saunas) •
•The travelling bathhouse of “Angelų malūnas” at the Clay House will welcome visitors throughout the festival. It is a place not only to get a good steam, but also to learn more about the traditions of the Lituanian pirtis (sauna). New sessions every hour from morning to mindnight. There is a fee for the sauna, registration is on site.
– The traditional community Juodaragis sauna on the eastern shore of the island (on the way to Kaukas Island) will be open at unspecified times and will receive tribesmen on a random basis. The sauna is free of charge.
• STARGAZING •
Discover Aušrinė and your star in the vault! Young Astronomers’ Rally stargazers and their telescopes will invite You to observe and explore the night sky – every night from 23.00 to 03.00.
