It is a dark-folk enchanted journey along the secret path of Baltic eternity – prābutiskan – towards the legendary Ramawa shrine. The magical music of Romowe Rikoit spreads ritualistic meditation and Baltic mantras, opens the wild silence of intertribal wastelands with glowing fields, and paves the path of post-Baltic invisibility on a journey of constant search. In a revitalised Prussian language, they create new contemporary songs.
Romowe Rikoito began his exploration of the spiritual Ramawa in 1995 in Königsberg. We saw them for the first time at Mėnuo Juodaragis in 2001.
The band’s 6th album “UKA”, released this year, is dedicated to the Prussian sky god Ukapirms, the highest of the Baltic gods, and his unpredictable manifestations.
