When it comes to providing a soundtrack to the images of the whole of Juodaragis, we usually think of the music of Vėlių Namai (Home of Souls), which best encompasses the various different sonic directions of the festival. The 18-year-old project of Julius Mite creates a ritualistic fabric of live instruments and dark post-folk electronics. Their hazy journey into the otherworldly world is accompanied by the signs of the old Baltic faith and visions of spiritual transformations.
The group return to MJR stage after a year spent in the steppes of Central Asia, bringing some ancient shamanic instruments, that will enhance their magic trance under the starry cloak of the MJR night.
